Samsung accidentally mocks the Galaxy S5 – Connect

class=”primer”>

Last month, Samsung has put an end to rumors surrounding the upgraded version of its popular Galaxy S5 with the unveiling of Galaxy S5 LTE-A release. However, contrary to what its name suggests, this new phone with very little to do with the one launched last April.

If unfortunately Samsung manages to convince you that your current phone is poor, your only option is to get another phone with a 1440p display.

Among the impressive features of the Galaxy S5 LTE-A, we find the screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Under a bill promoting the device in question, Samsung does not hesitate to tell you that you should not “be satisfied with what you are used” with the screens of other phones, because the WQHD screen [1440p] of its new model “is reputed to be 187% brighter than the FHD [1080p].”

The problem? As you probably guessed, the screen of the Galaxy S5 1080p is comparable to what the competition currently offers. Essentially, in the eyes of Samsung, the phone you bought there is less than 3 months is already obsolete

The funny in this story. S5 Galaxy LTA-a is only available in Korea South. If unfortunately Samsung manages to convince you that the quality of your phone screen is poor, and you live outside of Asia, your only option is to get a other phone with a 1440p display.

This is the case of LG G3, to be launched in Canada 1 st August.
