Next step: take the temperature? Samsung teams had not lied when partly evoked the medical aspect of Galaxy S5. Indeed, the application S Health, in addition to counting your steps, so far allowed to measure your heart rate via a sensor located behind the appliance.

stress : We learned today that Health S received an update and now the pulse sensor is used to measure a given yet rather abstract.

How? Simply by measuring your heart rate over a given period. rising stress will result in an increased heart rate , the measurement is made over an hour, a day or a month. Obviously, the measure does not replace a medical diagnosis, especially as many elements come interfere with the measurement of your heart rate. Should it be done on a regular basis and always in the same conditions. The tool offers in any case the creation of monthly charts, daily or hourly, the Galaxy S5.

Obviously, take this feature with great decline. It is not a “true” measure of stress in the medical sense of the term, but it will perhaps get a trend. And so far, Galaxy S5 has not achieved certification of medical equipment .
