Samsung Galaxy S5 vs S4 Galaxy Android 5.0 Lollipop video! – Phonandroid

Android 5.0 Lollipop is on everyone’s lips and is highly anticipated. Manufacturers are racing to see who will offer the new Google OS first. LG, Motorola and Samsung seem to be those who have worked the most to offer a quick update.

Today, things have accelerated since Google has officially announced the availability of the OS on Nexus 5, 7 and 10. Previously it was LG who had communicated availability this week for its LG and Motorola G3 on its Moto Moto X and G.

And even though Samsung has yet announced official availability date, Korean is nonetheless very active. Thus, some non-final versions of Android 5.0 Lollipop circulating in the mid-developers. And the site SamMobile was able to compare the OS on a Galaxy S5 and S4 Galaxy . And as we have a lot of luck, the site has published comparative video.

And the least we can say is that there are some differences depending on whether the OS running on a Galaxy Galaxy S4 or S5. Here is what distinguishes the two versions:

  • Browser on the Galaxy S5 notification bar at the top of the screen is gray, it adopts the Material Design perfectly. In contrast to the Galaxy S4, it always appears in black
  • Music . Application to read music but also shows a difference this time on both versions. Galaxy S4 on the top right of the screen, a search menu is displayed. On the Galaxy S5, there is no possibility of this search for a title, but instead it is a complete menu that appears.
  • Time : this time it’s the Galaxy S5 who are missing an item. On the Galaxy S4, a “+” in a yellow circle button appears at the bottom of the screen, that button is not present on the Galaxy S5. On the latter it is displayed in the top right corner much less visible
  • Menu notifications . In the notifications menu items appear on both Galaxy S5 who are absent on the Galaxy S4, S Finder and Quick Connect. But these elements were not present either before the update
  • Photo Gallery . Following the update, the Galaxy S5 just drag your finger to the right from the left edge of the screen to view a complete menu. On the Galaxy S4, you must press a small arrow at the top of the screen, the menu is much smaller and less intuitive. In addition, a search option is available on the Galaxy S4 S5 absent.

Although Samsung has made good progress in the development of Android 5.0 Lollipop, this survey shows us that there is still a bit of work for the OS is officially available on smartphones Korean. We’ll have to wait again
