Galaxy Note 5, 2 and LG OnePlus G4 are three recent high-end offering each a very different configuration. The first team of 64 Bit octo core Exynos 7420 processor with 4GB of RAM LPDDR4, the second of a Snapdragon processor 810, optimized to avoid overheating problems, along with 4GB of RAM and LPDDR4 third of a 64-bit hex core processor Snapdragon 808 with 3 GB of RAM LPDDR3.
Which of the three is the fastest? The answer lies not only in the processor or the amount of onboard RAM but also depends on software optimization. The Galaxy Note TouchWiz 5 rotates via the OnePlus under 2 OxygenOS and G4 in the LG LG UX 4.0. The test below is quite simple. The stopwatch is started simultaneously on all three smartphones and various actions are then carried out on all three devices.
Of the three tested smartphones, the Galaxy Note 5 appears as a real racing machine with a total time of 1 minute and 2 seconds. Then comes the LG G4 with 1 minute and 21 seconds. Finally, there is the OnePlus 2 which is blowing in second place despite its Snapdragon 810 and 4GB of RAM LPDDR4 with a total time of 1 minute and 26 seconds. Same trend on the second test where the classification is the same.
Note that the video encoding task performed on the latest Samsung is extremely fast while its two rivals are lagging behind. We can not also of help noticing that his two competitors put almost as long to encode video. This confirms once again that the ‘performance gap between processors Snapdragon 810 and 808 is minimal.
Finally, it will be noted that despite its superiority, the Note 5 is constantly obliged to charge all applications
