According to you, Samsung he makes a mistake?
Last week, Samsung held a conference where he unveiled two new high-end smartphones: Galaxy Note and the Galaxy 5 Edge + S6. The Galaxy Note is a 5 “Note” version of the Galaxy S6, that is to say that it is almost the same smartphone, but with a larger screen and a stylus course. The Galaxy Edge S6 + is almost identical to Galaxy S6 Edge (the curved screen smartphone on both sides that Samsung had unveiled in conjunction with the Galaxy S6), except that it also has a larger screen.
The bad news, which surprised all fans of Samsung, is that the South Korean giant has decided not to offer the Galaxy Note 5 in Europe. A decision motivated by marketing reasons has outraged all lovers of the range “Note” Samsung the Old Continent.
While the Galaxy Note 5 will be available from this August in Asia and the USA, Samsung will focus on the Edge S6 + in our region. The fundamental difference between the two smartphones is that the Edge + S6 has a curved screen on both sides while the Note is a 5 PHABLET with a stylus and a priori thought for productivity. Both have 5.7-inch screens.
Many people think that Samsung is mistaken. For example, Francesco Jeronimo IDC analyst, quoted by the BBC, thinks the Galaxy S6 + Edge will not sell much on the business market in Europe as the Galaxy Note 5, if proposed.
And furthermore, a petition was even launched by the Clove UK site for Samsung reconsider its decision and offers the Galaxy Note 5 on the European continent. It only remains to know if there will be enough signatures to convince the Korean giant to reconsider its strategy.
“We would like to believe that if enough people show their desire to buy the Note 5 in Europe and the UK, it [Samsung] may reconsider its decision” , reads the petition.
