Two processors and their benchmarks for the Galaxy S7 – Le Journal du Geek

As we learned earlier this week that the high-end Samsung could be launched in January, is a new rumor reported by the news agency Reuters comes today headlines and confirming the return of Qualcomm processors in the range Samsung Galaxy.

 Exynos-snapdragon

Before the Galaxy S6 and overheating problems of Snapdragon 810, Samsung used to distribute its flagship in two versions, one with a house Exynos processor for the majority of countries and one with a Qualcomm processor for the USA and China.

This habit should be back this year with the same geographic distribution, Galaxy S7 Distributed in China and America should have the right to a Snapdragon 820 while those distributed in the rest of the world would have to Exynos processors 8890 are sometimes referred Mongoose M1.

In terms of performance, the two processors are very close and even if the processor Exynos had shown some weaknesses facing the chip of Qualcomm when tested with Geekbench 3 , it would seem that after optimizing the chip Samsung do much better. Thus, under Geekbench 3 multi-core, the chip gets a score of 6908, against 4970 for the Snapdragon 820 and 4403 for the A9 chip that team the last iPhone. In single-core is the A9 chip that leads the way with a score of 2522 followed by the chip from Samsung (2294) and finally the Qualcomm (1732).

These chips deliver both high-end performance, you will see how they behave and if the use Qualcomm chip does not suffer from an overheating problem.
