Samsung visibly preparing to replace the first member of the series J. What looks like a new Galaxy J1 appeared in the GFXBench database. It seems to be positioned between the current model and the Galaxy J2.
The new organization of the range Galaxy n is actually not that easy to understand. On one side, Samsung complete the different series that make up with new models which are especially not to be confused with the first, which are renewed on the other. Take the J series, launched with the Galaxy J1 before hosting the Galaxy J2 and, more recently, the Galaxy J3. One might think that the figure shows a generation. Well no. The true successor prepares only the first to arrive, as it just appeared on GFXBench .
A Galaxy J2 with less RAM?
It would model number SM-J120F and bring some improvements while leaving a slight advantage at the Galaxy J2 which he seems to take most of the features with the exception of the limited RAM by 1GB , against 1.5 GB. Both models appear to be identical because otherwise the benchmark lists a 4.5-inch WVGA display, a quad-core Exynos 3475 chipset (certainly supports 4G), 8 GB of internal memory and cameras 5 and 2 megapixels. The all animated by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Mini declination in preparation
This discovery also explains our incomprehension at the Galaxy Mini J1 we were immediately compared to the first Galaxy J1, with the conclusion that it was as large and better equipped in some areas. It would appear that the starting point, understand before “miniaturization”, is actually the new Galaxy J1. Everything becomes much more logical, whether the size of the screen or equipment found behind.
The proximity of these two discoveries also show that J1 Galaxy (2016) and Galaxy Mini J1 could be launched simultaneously. The question is when and at what price exactly. Recall that the small model is listed with a value of € 50 at Zauba, where the second was also spotted. The value entered in his case is approaching € 100. This will certainly not be the selling price but it can already get an idea.
