A Galaxy Samsung Android renews its core range – Clubic

Samsung announced the 2016 vintage of its Android smartphones heart range, the Galaxy A.

Samsung has a multitude of economic Android smartphones in the catalog, but the Galaxy A are those that puts forward most behind the Galaxy S. Like the latter, they benefit from careful construction in glass and metal, a fingerprint sensor, optical stabilization camera and a plug in charge of Samsung Pay contactless payment solution.

They have also a more modest specifications, high-end, but not at the tip. In sum, the new Samsung Galaxy A are the Samsung Galaxy S that the HTC One HTC One is A9 M9.


All three models feature a Super AMOLED and display, 4.7-inch and 1280 x 720 pixels on the Galaxy A3, 5.2 inches and 1920 x 1080 pixels on the Galaxy A5, and 5.5 inches and 1920 x 1080 pixels on the Galaxy A7. These screens are overcome on three models with a front sensor 5 million pixels, wearing a bright lens f / 1.9. On the back, the sensor is 13 million pixels, it has an optical stabilization on the A7 and A5, but not on the A3.

Under the hood is a chip with four cores at 1.5 GHz and 2 GB of RAM in the A3, an eight-core chip at 1.6 GHz and 3 GB of RAM in the other two. There is also 16GB of internal memory, expandable to 128 GB through a microSD card, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, 802.11n Wi-Fi and 4G LTE category 4 on the A3 ( 150 Mb / s maximum), category 6 on the A5 and A7 (300 Mb / s maximum).

The batteries are respectively 2300, 2900 and 3300 mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy A will come with Android 5.1 finally Lollipop, not with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which is yet available for some time, and brings welcome improvements, particularly in terms of battery life.

The Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 will go on sale in Europe in mid-December, to official price of respectively 330, 400 and 470 euros. It will therefore be phones with which to indulge, without reaching the tops of the Galaxy S over 600 euros.
