The Korean electronics giant also unveiled the smartphone Galaxy Note 3 and tablet Galaxy Note 10.1 on the sidelines of IFA in Berlin.
It is done, Samsung has outdone Apple with its smart watch Wednesday night, the Galaxy Gear, alongside the IFA in Berlin. It can also sound the smartphone when the user has lost in a room, and vice versa. No offense to Sony Smart Watch and already on the shelves, it sees for the first time how the watch could play a big role in the media lives in the future. And hopes are placed in all the Apple team that will soon present their iWatch, perhaps as early as September 10, but more likely in 2014.
A huge handicap
If the Galaxy Gear seems innovative, marketing will suffer a serious handicap: the gadget is now compatible with the Galaxy Note 3, a new smartphone also unveiled Wednesday by Samsung, and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet edition 2014 (details below). Users of the Galaxy S4 marketed in recent months, as well as the Galaxy S3 in a second time, however, should be eligible for upgrade compatibility, we do we slip from Samsung. Samsung could hit hard by addressing the whole market of Android users (the mobile operating system from Google, the world thanks to Samsung sales), but he chose to restrict its target only to buyers of brand new smartphones. A new “phablet” the Note 3
Samsung has also introduced its new smartphone large (or “phablet”), the Galaxy Note 3. With a slightly larger than the previous version (5.7 against 5.5 inch) screen, it is also a little lighter (168 grams against 183), thinner (8.3 against 9.4 mm) and with a better camera (13 megapixels against eight previously). It is also equipped with a quad-core processor 2.3 GHz and 3 GB of RAM.
