Specifications
As you can see in the table below, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7-inch 3 has a bit disappointing some resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The tablet features a dual-core Marvell PXA 986 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM. Its internal memory is 8GB The back camera sensor rises to 3.15 megapixels, while the front camera is 1.3 Megapixel sensor. The connector consists of a micro SD slot and a microUSB slot. The available operating system is Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, coupled with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface.

Design
3 Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 is comfortable in hand. It is adorned with the famous white plastic which the manufacturer has accustomed us.
for the Galaxy Tab 8.0, you can read our review here, the design of the tablet has been designed so that it can be used in portrait on the front with a physical home button redirecting . From either side of this button are dedicated to virtual menu key and back.
light sensor and front camera sensor are visible next to the name of the brand, always on the front of the unit. We do not have the right to LED notifications as is the case on some shelves.

Finally, we see the back of the Galaxy Tab 3 the back camera sensor. However, unlike the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0, the 7 “has a rear convex hull. In fact, it is thicker, and the difference is sensitive to the comparison.
Screen
definition of this 7-inch screen is 1024 x 600 pixels with a density of 170 ppi, which is disappointing in light of what is currently on the market. However, I must admit that the slate is pleasantly light and its viewing angles are good.
Letnow test the color rendering. For this, I compared our Galaxy Tab 3 with Nexus 7 first generation. Overall, the Nexus 7, 2012, on the right, offers the most pleasant colors TFT screen of the Samsung tablet. Red pulls a little to pink, white is slightly dimmed … All goes well, but does not equate his rival.
Software
The tablet runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and includes the famous overcoat known as Samsung TouchWiz. It is also present on the 8.0 version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 3. The proposed slate in this application are thus substantially the same as its big sisters.
With this tablet, you have the right to “Hub” developed by Samsung Music Hub, Video Hub, Game Hub and Learning Hub. These applications are used in sequence, music, videos, games and education. Some will be happy, while others regret duplicate these applications cause with those of Google, like Play Movies and Play Music. Note, however, that this 7-inch tablet Samsung strangely does not benefit the Hub dedicated to books, but you can settle for the application of Google Play Books. We also note the absence of Paper Artist, an image editing application that allows you to apply filters and frames to photos and who is present in the other two versions of the Galaxy Tab 3.
Another feature of this interface is integrated Samsung Apps, an application presenting themselves as an alternative to Google Play Store. It gives access to a catalog of applications from Samsung. Its usefulness is in my opinion very limited as the supply of already particularly given platform downloads Google.
Finally, the notification bar is as usual with Samsung handy with the ability to select the shortcuts that you want to appear.
Photo and Video

Benchmark
These results may not be familiar and therefore you are not suggestive. To make it simple, know that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 3 is capable of 3D games run properly without suffering a downturn. The side of the web navigation cons, we would have liked that page loading is faster. Note finally that the tablet tends to heat up pretty quickly, which does not exactly inspire confidence.
Autonomy
life of the battery of this tablet is very average. With a rate of 4000 mAh, the machine loses 24% of energy when playing a video on YouTube for a period of one hour with the brightness and the maximum, which is above of the standard. Otherwise, you will lose 5% of battery while playing 15 minutes on a low fuel type game Temple Run. On paper, it supposed to take 8 hours before needing to be recharged.
