Bad news for globetrotters and fans of Samsung, the Korean manufacturer confirms that its smartphones are now zoned locked region.
A locking initiated since July 2013 on current production Galaxy S2, S3, S4, S4 Mini and Galaxy Note 2 and Note 3 . Zoning that would prohibit the use of certain SIM and local networks. If you import and activate one of Asia Galaxy S Note or manufactured after July 2013 in France, you could use hex with our operators.
Conversely, Galaxy Note 3 acquired in Europe will not use a U.S. SIM card. A real disappointment for frequent travelers accustomed to juggling SIM cards to avoid roaming charges.locked smartphones are identified by a sticker
