If you are excited since 4 September and the announcement of the beautiful Galaxy Gear, you surely must have been very disappointed to learn that the watch connected Samsung is only compatible with a single smartphone time: the Galaxy Note 3. It is not a desire to Samsung, but rather a technical limitation that is at the origin.
Indeed, the Gear is connected to Galaxy Note 3 through Bluetooth low energy, which is operated by Android 4.3. However, this version of the Google OS is only available on very few devices, and it is the case of the Galaxy Note 3.
For its part, Samsung is not talking about Android 4.3 as the reason for this narrow compatibility, but rather refers to a version of the API that would be the moment for that Galaxy Note 3. The manufacturer shall also do everything possible to expand the compatibility of its shows with other smartphones. Next on the list are the Galaxy S3, S4 and Note 2.
imagine that Samsung does everything for his watch is compatible with all smartphones on the market, but remains so for now depending on the deployment of Android 4.3 on androphones.
