The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is one of the latest smartphones sold by Samsung. According to recent rumors the Korean company is nevertheless preparing to stop production of the device.
The Galaxy Alpha marked the beginning of the revival of Samsung smartphone line. With it, the company had finally abandoned the plastic shells in favor of the metal. The Galaxy Alpha was somehow the answer to all accusations against the Galaxy S5.
According ETNews, Samsung nevertheless preparing to stop the smartphone. Alpha Galaxy is replaced by the Galaxy A5 due out in January and February 2015. The Galaxy Alpha is aesthetically pleasing but sales are not at the rendezvous because its high price.
The Korean company would focus in 2015 on entry and mid-range smartphones which includes the Galaxy A5 . A line Galaxy retain the distinction of having metal hulls but smartphone prices would be much more attractive.
Galaxy Alpha production would continue until all the components. It should not logically survive the arrival of the Galaxy A5.
