According to rumors, Samsung plans to use another type of fingerprint scanner for the Galaxy S6.
If you’ve been testing a Samsung brand mobile with a fingerprint scanner, such as the Galaxy S5 or Note 4, you may have noticed that the biometric sensor used by the builder does not always work very well.
In fact, this is due to the hardware since unlike Apple (with iPhone 5S, 6 and 6 Plus), the South Korean manufacturer has selected a slip system.
To authenticate or unlock the screen, the user slides his finger on the home button. And compared to the technology used on the latest iPhone, it would be less accurate, which can cause frustration among users.
But according to informed sources Site SamMobile, Samsung has decided to skip the slide and chose for the Galaxy S6 technology similar to that used by iPhone 5S, 6 and 6 Plus.
That is, means that the user will not have to drag his finger but just put it on the home button. However, if these rumors are true, the next smartphone range Samsung Galaxy S may have a home button a little bigger.
The Galaxy S6 could be unveiled to the public a few weeks during the MWC in Barcelona. Meanwhile, you can read our articles on the subject
