After Galaxy A3 and A5, it was the turn of the Galaxy A7 to be formalized by Samsung. It will arrive in March and will have to plan a full HD screen of 5.5 inches and run Android 4.4 (KitKat). It is particularly fine, with a thickness of only 6.3 mm.
In October, Samsung officially unveiled its new range of smartphone Galaxy A. They all feature a unibody metal, a Super AMOLED display and connectivity 4G (150 Mb / s). Samsung also highlights a system “ Ultra Power Saving ” and a “ Private mode ” to protect certain files by password or unlock code. If we already knew the Galaxy A3 and A5, which are also available in France since the beginning of the year, the Galaxy A7 is now official.
As expected, it has a 5.5 inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 1280 x 768 against only for his little brother 5 inches. The SoC contains meanwhile eight cores at 1.8 GHz, accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, expandable via a microSD card slot (up to 64GB).
Otherwise, it has the same design features as the Galaxy A5, obviously with measurements up: 150.9 x 75.9 x 6.3 mm and weighs 150 grams. In comparison, the More iPhone 6 5.5 x 77.8 inches measuring 158.1 x 7.1 mm for 172 grams, against 145.5 x 74.6 x 9.1 mm and 153 grams for the LG G3. Samsung therefore less space with the same screen size.
We regret by against that Android 5.0 ( Lollipop ) is not of the party from the beginning: it will indeed be content to Android 4.4 (KitKat) and, At the moment, nothing is specified for an update. The price of the Galaxy A7 was not disclosed, but it should be placed above the Galaxy A5 which is sold around 400 euros. Samsung says it will be available in the month of March.
