Samsung just split a teaser which confirms the existence of an “Edge” version of its Galaxy S6, with curved screen edges.
A few days before the announcement of the Galaxy S6, scheduled for Sunday, March 1, it will be difficult for Samsung to surprise his world. Between leak on the interface , rumors, the details Wireless charging and teasers of the manufacturer himself, it seems that almost everything has already been said on the smartphone. Or rather smartphones, as it now appears clear that there will be two versions of the beast. Strongly sensed, the “Edge” model with curved screen edges in the same vein as the Galaxy Note Edge , has indeed been confirmed by Samsung as part of a teaser surprisingly informative, published on the website of the US operator T-Mobile. While this exercise is usually apparent in a contest unsaid, one can clearly see the characteristic curvature of this Edge technology visually in the introduction to this article.
A visual ambiguity which however does not confirm the presence of two curved edges. Most purists will even argue that it is still possible that Samsung Galaxy splitting an Edge S6 with one curved edge, as on the Edge Note mentioned above. Except that the rumors on the subject, now several months old, proved correct so far, and they all relate without exception that the two edges will be curved. This would be good news to the extent that the esthetic will be even better. Not to mention ergonomics, since the asymmetrical side of Edge Note has indeed not pleased everyone.
In addition, extrapolating a little, we find that teaser is revealing of the angle of attack to be adopted for the Samsung Galaxy Edge version of the S6. Indeed, we note here that the manufacturer does not highlights the technological prowess or ergonomic interest. This last point has been quite critical in most Edge Note the tests. Korean seems to want to bet primarily on rendering innovative aesthetics could bring these two curved edges. It even allows a play on words in English (“ Six Appeal ” / “ Sex Appeal “) for those who have not picked up the message immediately sent by the pink foil.
