Galaxy S4 safer than the iPhone with "Knox" - Le Journal du Geek

Presents for the first time at MWC 2013 and shown during the conference with the Samsung Galaxy S4 “Knox” has received the endorsement of the Department of Defense (DoD, the U.S. Department of Defense). This means that the feature provides sufficient security to be used in a military context .

Knox is an encryption solution present data on the Galaxy S4 and should eventually be found on other Samsung devices foreground. Like BB10, it allows you to encrypt a number of confidential data such as mails. It fits perfectly in the era of “Bring Your Own Device”, which is to use his own equipment company.

If BB10 was the first to receive such authorization, the Galaxy S4 has the scoop on Android. For its part the iPhone and iOS have not received the same treatment, it would seem, however, that the DoD is studying the issue.
