Samsung walking on water. The new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge seem to have allowed the manufacturer to get back in the race for premium smartphones. And despite its price, this is the model that Edge won the favor of the request.
Of course, Samsung has been content to produce only very few Edge S6, thinking that the customers would turn away from this impressive model on paper and in reality. But there is a real interest around this smartphone with curved screen on the edges.
That’s why Samsung has introduced a new line of production of curved screens, to increase the volume to 5 million units per month. Previously, the figure was “only” 2 million … Proof, if any, that the S6 Edge won many votes over the world.
The new plant should be operational in June but ahead of the needs, it will open two months earlier, according to sources in the industry.
