The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 (or Note 7) would arrive earlier than expected – 01net.com

“The launch of Galaxy Note 6/7 will be in exactly two months.” By his tweet, journalist Evan Blass (usually well informed) implies that the successor to the Galaxy Note 5 – which could take the name of Galaxy Note 7 – arrive early August. An announcement in advance of a few days compared to that of the Galaxy Note 5 last year. At the same time, a curved variation of the PHABLET is also mentioned.

As the Galaxy S7, the next Galaxy Note would arrive with his version edge, logically dubbed Galaxy Note Edge 7. Technically, it would be the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus – introduced with the Galaxy Note 5 last year.

The names of devices increasingly illegible for the consumer, the brand seems to harmonize. End 2016, the upscale offer would be made and the Galaxy S7, S7 Edge Galaxy, Galaxy and Galaxy Note 7 Note 7 Edge. One hypothesis would explain the label Note 7 without going through the box Note 6.

According to the latest rumors, the smartphone turn through a 823 Snapdragon processor and 6GB of RAM. A large 4000 mAh battery would power everything, including the 5.7 or 5.8-inch screen.

But the differences between the flat version and curved text could outnumber planned. According to Chinese sources, the Galaxy Note Edge 7 is equipped with a dual camera sensor in the rear. For the Korean site PulseNews, Samsung would opt for a wide-angle camera coupled with a long focal length sensor. A choice which recalls that of LG for its G5 with respect to the wide angle portion.

For its part, Apple would also develop a smartphone with dual camera sensor in the rear. Like Samsung, only one of the two versions of the flagship would be affected. The Apple brand would reserve this innovation to the iPhone 7 Plus or iPhone Pro 7. By counting the P9 Huawei and LG G5, four major smartphones would increase to three cameras in total. Enough to change the entire market in this direction.
