In April, a month after the release of the two smartphones, they had passed 10 million copies.
Two South Korean media YonapNews Pulse News and believe that the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are expected to exceed 25 million units in the end of the month.
The aggressive marketing strategy, launched earlier in the year and developments on both devices should help Samsung to pass this bar.
Pulse News notes that sales of the Galaxy Edge S7 far exceeds that of the S7. Given its higher price, it should help Samsung increase its margins. The company also expects to increase profits in the second quarter.
In the second half, sales of both devices should logically decline. Samsung will try to stay on the front of the scene with the Galaxy Note 7 scheduled for August 2.
