Galaxy Gear soon supported by the Galaxy S3, S4 and Note II - Generation NT

paradox if any, smartwatch Samsung Galaxy Gear can be paired with only 3 and Galaxy Note Galaxy Note 10.1.

A surprising choice from the South Korean manufacturer while other smartwatches of the market are compatible with all other mobile devices. This is the case of Pebble (read our test ), which works with both iOS Android devices but also the Sony SmartWatch 2 which does not remain confined to smartphones and tablets Xperia the brand.

However, if one believes the Korean Times , which is based on statements Lee Young-hee , vice president for marketing the mobile division, things should change soon since it would issue a support the Galaxy Gear by Galaxy S4 before the end of October 2013 .

This would be at the discretion of the deployment of Android 4.3 on the Galaxy devices since earlier this iteration of Android do not support Bluetooth 4.0 (Bluetooth Low Energy ) used by the smart watch to pair with the mobile.

Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 should, themselves, be able to pair with the Galaxy Gear before the end of December, a good indication of the amount deployment Android 4.3 on these devices.

One can also imagine that the Galaxy Mega and Galaxy Note 8.0 may then become their all compatible with Gear. And what about the devices from other manufacturers? The Nexus 4 (read our review) already has Android 4.3 (and thus support BLE) whose deployment for HTC One has already begun in some countries.
