A fact sheet on the run for the Galaxy S7 via AnTuTu – Mensquare

A user of the social network Weibo has published what appears to be the technical specifications of Samsung Galaxy S7 via a benchmark test on the AnTuTu platform.

It is under the form of a screenshot of a user of the Chinese equivalent of Twitter has published what appears to match the specifications of the Galaxy S7. Naturally, we can validate the authenticity of the picture when the phone will be formalized in late February. Nevertheless, this validates several tracks although rumors beam is not in itself proof.

Same screen, same resolution

Several rumors evoked a slight increase in the size of the screen the last weeks of the order of 0.1 inches. AnTuTu slice the debate momentarily and displays a screen similar to that of the diagonal Galaxy S6. Or 5.1 inches with a qHD resolution 2560 x 1440 pixels. The novelty for the screen – but which appears here and yet to be validated – it is the presence of the Force Touch technology as the iPhone 6S – 6S Plus (under the name 3D Touch) or Huawei Mate S.

The Snapdragon 820 takes advantage

This is the new feature of Qualcomm processor that appears in the image below. He is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and a graphics chip Adreno 530. Please note that this statement does not mean that the phone is not equipped with an Exynos processor as the S6 line. It is rumored that the manufacturer would share the cake according to the territories: Snapdragon for the United States and some Asian countries, the Exynos in Europe and South Korea. Note that this version of the S7 has 64 GB of storage but we find no mention of a micro-SD card slot. This does not necessarily mean it will again be missing. The trend is a return.

The same camera sensor as the iPhone 6S

The surprise which seems to be confirmed day by day regarding the sensor photo that would increase from 16 to 12 megapixels! A decline that we can not account for now. The most logical explanation is the arrival of new technology to improve the rendering. It will take a few weeks to get to the bottom heart.

Presentation and release date

This information is not shown on the screenshot above. But rumors again are becoming increasingly accurate. The Galaxy S7 could be announced officially on February 21 in Barcelona on the eve of Mobile World Congress. This show is the historic visit of the range Galaxy S. Logic would therefore, be unveiled on this occasion. Its release date will not necessarily be announced during the presentation but it could take place a month later. Either Friday, March 18, 2016 for France.
