The next Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (Spain), to be held from 22 to 25 February 2016, could be the scene of the presentation simultaneously two of the most high-end smartphones anticipated of the year, from South Korea, namely the successors of G4 LG and Samsung Galaxy S6.
There is no evidence yet that the next LG flagship will be dubbed the G5, but it’s good that it will be in Barcelona officially unveiled, bypassing the announcement of its nearest competitor. End 2015, credible information about the technical characteristics of this new smartphone appeared on Reddit. It could have a slightly smaller screen than the G4 (5.5 against 5.3 inches) for the definition (2560×1440 pixels) and a resolution of 640ppi.
The smartphone should have d a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 3GB of RAM and processor. The device could especially stand out from the competition, at least in the high-end image sensors by its two back, respectively 15,9Mpx and 8,3Mpx, accompanied by another facade 8Mpx. All these characteristics are obviously taken lightly this time.
Like the Xperia Sony Z5, the future Samsung “Galaxy S7″ (unofficial name) could have a 4K screen and a series of novel components, according to several leaks appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo and then taken by the specialist international press.
Just like the Samsung Galaxy S6, the future reference model of the South Korean manufacturer should be available in several grinds more or less elaborate. The most powerful of them, a version “Premium” initially reserved for the Asian market could thus be equipped with a 4K screen (3840 x 2160 pixels), but also an unprecedented fourteen processor cores and a camera module dual sensor developed by Sony.
As for the classic version of the future Galaxy S7, broadcast around the world, it should in particular incorporate a qHD display (2560 x 1440 pixels) and an Exynos processor octo-core. His camera, however, could also be made of two sensors.
LG hopes to use this frontal exposure to pull out of the game and thereby integrate in 2016 the Top 5 largest smartphone vendors in the world, composed of Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Lenovo / Motorola and Xiaomi
