CES 2016 – Hands of the Samsung Galaxy S TabPro – DigitalVersus

Announced yesterday at the conference Samsung, we were able to take over the tablet Galaxy S. The TabPro competitor of the Surface Pro 4 has undeniable strengths, including a keyboard that has us looks good.
The lines of the Galaxy S TabPro are generally the ones found on Android slates of Korean, but it is indeed a machine running Windows 10. Moreover, it is quite confusing to find this OS on a tablet so thin (6.3 mm without the keyboard). In hand, the magnesium shell provides robust feel and 693 grams of the tablet remain honest for this 12-inch format. The Super AMOLED screen panel display offers a pleasant and seems to deliver a faithful colorimetry; do not shoot the white to blue, indicating a color temperature close to the norm. The definition of 2560 x 1440 px is sufficient to display perfectly chiseled texts. The keyboard that comes with TabPro S is well made. It intelligently serves as cover. The magnetic attachment system on the bottom edge of the shelf and the back of the latter allows a link to be both safe and easily removable if necessary. The cover allows two display positions, the passage from one to the other is easily making. When folded, the whole remains rather thin.

The keyboard itself has a fairly close strike that found on laptops in the chiclet . The space between the keys could have been a little more consistent to avoid typos. It may take a little time to adapt. The Touchpad is certainly not very big, but it has the merit of being quite powerful and offers a nice glide. With its keyboard, this TabPro S closer to the overall comfort of using a mobile PC. The only drawback remains that the use of the knees remain a problem, the rigidity of the whole is not that of a notebook.
 
 

Difficult to judge the performance of the beast in a relatively short essay. However, we can say that the Intel Core M3 trio, 4 GB of RAM and SSD should offer a certain fluidity in basic uses. We have found no slowdown in our grip. The rear sensor 5MP proved surprisingly good, even in difficult light

conditions the show. However, difficult to imagine a real utility to the latter on a slate of this format.

At first glance, the TabPro S has sufficient assets to come tickle the Surface Pro 4 entry on her flowerbeds. Remains a crucial question unanswered for the moment, the price of this machine, which will undoubtedly be one of the keys to success of this Samsung tablet.
