For a few hours of pre-CES conference Samsung, Evan Blass, better known under the pseudonymevleaks on Twitter, has unveiled one of the products that could be presented at this event. The images reveal a large format tablet coupled with a keyboard, like Microsoft Surface PRO
The CES 2016 is in full swing, and official announcements alongside last minute leaks. Thus we learn that Samsung is preparing to launch a new tablet called Galaxy S. This TabPRO indiscretion, shared by the famous Evan Blass, comes with some visual of the device, at least amazing.
A concurrent to the area and iPad Pro
The shelves coupled to a keyboard are not novel products. ASUS, for example, has even made one of his specialties for several years with its range Transformer Pad. Nevertheless, this format takes the ranks recently with the announcement of Microsoft’s Surface Pro, but also the iPad Pro Apple introduced more recently. With this TabPRO Galaxy S, Samsung therefore attack this market, in turn offering a large format tablet (10-12 inches) with a keyboard making office accessory with trackpad and possibly protection.
No technical feature has yet been revealed about this terminal. Despite its laptop design, it seems increasingly clear however whether a mobile architecture.
Inside Windows?
The tablet’s operating system was not disclosed, but the paper displayed on the images leaves no room for doubt. If these images are true, it would be expected that the tablet runs on Windows 10 and signing the back of the Microsoft system on products the Korean giant after years of absence. This seems all the more credible than Samsung Tablet 12 inch Windows 10 recently passed its WiFi certification.
The information is still contradictory in the sense that the name “Galaxy” is essentially reserved for Terminal Samsung Android. For the record, there are still a few years, Samsung launched its devices under Windows under the name Omnia and Ativ. Even within the connected objects Office Seoul, only the Galaxy Gear, Android, bears the famous words, while the other, in Tizen, do not.
Several solutions are possible, starting with a dual-boot system Android and Windows 10, like the Ativ Q, the hybrid computer announced in 2013. Still others think that this could mean that Samsung now wants to embark on serious Windows adventure, and consider this OS in the same way that Android in high-end products.
Anyway, nothing is official yet, so you have to wait until tonight to know that Samsung holds.
