The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge came to writing for several days. Having sifted through their (excellent) screen, we submitted our autonomy tests. In short, they are as the top smartphones of the most enduring range of our comparison.

the Galaxy A5 and A3 version of 2016 we had frankly an appetite in terms of autonomy. In fact, both Samsung midrange terminals themselves as very durable, especially the A5 which has taken the lead in our ranking, smartphones outsized (Ulefone Power, Oukitel K10000, Kyocera Torque KC-S701 .. . who sacrifice some potential qualities on the altar of extreme autonomy) apart. It is therefore with some impatience that we did to the last born of our Korean manufacturer battery life testing. And patience has been necessary since they reach both very nice scores.
First stage of our marathon, our aim application, which mixes real uses such as Internet browsing, playing videos , sending SMS or calls, while 4G and Wi-Fi. the Galaxy S7 edge reaches a score of 15:37 or 2:30 more than a Huawei Mate 8 larger (6 inches against 5.5 ), but less well defined (Full HD against qHD). Proof of the immense step forward that made Samsung the edge S7 4:20 holds more than its ancestor the edge + S6. When we translate this finding, it gives us a little over 2 full days of standard use: a first for a smartphone as well endowed. For its part, the GS7 is placed one notch below at 1:32 p.m.. That puts it up to a Mate 7 Gold and 1h30 more than its predecessor, the GS6. Compared to the latter, it must still be noted that the battery capacity has been revised upwards, from 2550 to 3000 mAh. The GS7 here offers the equivalent of a little less than 2 days of use. Our second test is that of the playback stream videos over Wi-Fi. Again, the GS7 edge is distinguished by offering no less than 3:32 p.m. reading continuously, placing himself under the Oukitel K10000 and oversized battery 10,000 mAh, on the second step of the podium. The flat version of S7 shows equally strong on this use and offers 13.30 video streaming , ranking 6 th of our comparison. Video playback seems to have been optimized by Samsung this year.
Finally, the charging time is also satisfying for our two hero of the day. It takes 1 hour 20 for a complete cycle of GS7 edge and a small quarter hour less for his friend. All this of course goes by fast charging and the charger supplied by the manufacturer. It is 45 minutes more on average for a normal load.
for this first overview about the autonomy of the first high-end smartphones of 2016. Samsung has raised the bar and the hopes born of the performance of Galaxy A5 and A3 are achieved overall . We will of course more on certain uses when fully tests the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge in a few days.
