It’s now official: the actor will lend his voice to many in the film Groot Guardians of the Galaxy . The director, James Gunn, confirmed the rumor by posting on his Twitter account a photo of Vin Diesel with a figurine representing Groot, a character with the appearance of a tree – note that they have as expressive air as each other.
For months, Vin Diesel has made statements concerning his collaboration with Marvel and his voiceover work. But neither James Gunn or producer Guardians of the Galaxy , Kevin Feige, had confirmed his words. The recording sessions were begun and James Gunn is delighted: “Yes, it is definitely Official And it’s amazing I’ve never known anyone who can say” I am Groot “in so many different ways.. and with so many emotions (sounds like I’m joking but this is not the case!) “.

Guardians of the Galaxy released in France 13 August 2014. Vin Diesel will share the bill with Benicio Del Toro, Glenn Close or Lee Pace. The film will present to the public a new chapter in the Marvel universe as well as new characters.
