Smartphones: iPhone and Galaxy S4 head of sales - ZDNet

Business: Of the 10 most popular mobile devices, Apple delights the top two spots with iPhone 5s and iPhone 5. If Samsung is mauled by Apple, it nevertheless class 7 smartphones in the first 10, and 10 in the Top 20.

Apple and Samsung are the two major manufacturers of smartphones in the world with the third quarter market share of respectively 31.4% and 13.1%. If the Korean has the benefit of overall volume, Apple’s most popular models remain individually.

So after a ranking of the 10 best-selling mobile phones in the world established by Counterpoint, Samsung and Apple share the top seven places.
