There is still plenty of time before that Samsung is launching an updated version of its flagship smartphone Galaxy S series, but rumors have begun to circulate. The rumor that the next flagship model, which would probably be called the Samsung Galaxy S6, have an aluminum casing and a curved screen.
If this rumor is true, then it means that the Galaxy S6 does not just have a metal case, it will be entirely in aluminum, something that many Samsung fans waiting for.
Regarding the curved screens, Samsung already experimented with this idea. There are a few months, they launched a smartphone called Galaxy Note Edge, the screen on this device is curved on one side. We expect similar treatment for the Galaxy S6 where the screen would be curved to the left side and the right side.
There is already a report on a variant of the Galaxy S6 similar to Galaxy Note Edge but the source which published this report is retracted, stating that this model is dead in the bud.
Samsung has not confirmed this smartphone, and history shows that there will probably be an announcement at MWC in Barcelona rather than at CES 2015 in Las Vegas in January.
