In response to a significant decline in sales and earnings, the world leader in the mobile has already decided
reduce by a quarter to a third party
number of smartphones it plans to market in 2015. And in
the high end, the most profitable segment, the South Korean could
finally stop playing the card renewal.
It must be said that the Galaxy S5 launched this year does not reach the expected results. According to the Wall Street Journal, quoted by The Verge,
if the high-end smartphone received production 20%
than its predecessor, its sales were 40% below
targets, causing too much inventory. Moreover, three
months after launch, the S5 has underperformed S4 (12 against 16
million units).
To regain
ability to attract, Samsung would go back in a white sheet with the
Project Zero. Behind this code name hides in fact the future
high-end terminal of the brand: the Galaxy S6 which will heavy
task to forget the pale S5.
There is talk of a new design, which would not be superfluous to
noble materials (bis repetita) and specifications as usual
outsized. Moreover, the Chinese site cnmo.com think I put my hand on the specifications of the terminal and published them.
With a 5.5-inch display (2560 x 1440 pixels), it embark a 64-bit chip Exynos 7420 eight-core, GPU Mali-T760, supported by 3 GB of RAM. We find 32 GB of storage and a 20 megapixel camera.
This terminal could be presented at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next February, as its predecessor.
