  The Galaxy S6 is finally here, and he is not alone: ​​while we waited a successor to the Galaxy S5, two smartphones that Samsung unveiled at Mobile World Congress last. The Galaxy S6 “classic” and the Galaxy Edge S6, a curious doubly curved screen version.

Expected at the turn after the disappointing results of S5, they see Samsung seriously put design at the center of their concerns and make choices that seem to refer to a specific target. high-end high-margin, dominated by the iPhone 6

By hearing every year the same rumor, we began to do not believe it: Samsung dropped the plastic to its S6. In itself, the use of the material has nothing insurmountable: Nokia used it for years successfully on its Lumia. But there are plastic and plastic, and Samsung has often shown rather bad taste in the matter, including the S5 opting for a chrome paint the edge of the worst effect and a textured back that some have compared to the period in a plaster (we also found it a chicken tray side white version).

After starting the movement with Note 4 and metallic trim, the Galaxy S6 adopts a design almost “plastic free” trim and aluminum frame, back and Gorilla Glass glass façade 4. The mixture is not new: since the iPhone 4 which was the first to popularize it, he has made happiness for Sony its Xperia Z.

Whatever the major inspiration of Samsung, one can not but admit that the first contact with the S6 is very positive: if not original, the smartphone displays beautiful forms, offers a good grip (maybe a little bit slippery while the rounded corners), and appreciates the work on colors: the back and the front reveal very slight streaks invisible to the naked eye that create an iridescent effect and change the color depending on the light.
