Samsung Galaxy J2: 2016 Version spotted on AnTuTu – LesMobiles.com

Samsung

the Galaxy J2 will soon be eligible for a 2016 release, and many improvements would be expected to believe the benchmarks, which AnTuTu who has just delivered a first report.

If a new C series is now expected to complete the Galaxy range, those of 2015 are expected to be renewed their sides. Samsung has already begun for the series A and J and it should continue in 2016 shortly launching a version of the Galaxy J2. After GeekBench, it has just been spotted on AnTuTu with a full report to the key. The opportunity to further clarify some gray areas but also to update the data of the other benchmark since some changes are ahead. And they are not all good.

AnTuTu Report

No 4G finally?

Let us start with the bad news. The chipset is not identified as the SC9830 but this time as the SC8830. This does not change much for performance as the CPU and GPU are virtually identical (quad-core Cortex-A7 1.2 GHz for the first and Mali-400 MP2 for the second) but the modem is not the same. 4G disappears … Note however that GeekBench was also noted for the chipset but SC8830 SC9830 to the motherboard. This could be a simple inaccuracy from AnTuTu. All is not yet lost. The rest is also quite positive.

HD screen, 2GB of RAM and 8 megapixel camera

On the positive surprises First we find some more RAM. Capacity from 1.5 to 2 GB. It’s not much but it is always better than nothing. Added to this is now a HD screen (size unknown), 16 GB of internal memory and 8 and 5 megapixel cameras. Recall that we had to settle for a WVGA resolution with the first Galaxy J2 screen, half less memory and resolutions of 5 and 2 megapixel camera with her. It is a nice evolution. Not to mention the software offering since Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is expected to commands.

now only hope that the price of the Galaxy J2 (2016) will not be much higher. His predecessor recall costs for less than 150 €.
