Galaxy Note 4: the first tests of the Super AMOLED screen are … – Phonandroid

As each new high-end firm, Galaxy Note 4 equips a beautiful Super AMOLED , here 5.7-inch screen and Quad HD resolution 2560 x 1440 pixels. If each generation, the quality is the rendezvous, the phablette 2014 Samsung is no exception to the rule and offers intense color and contrast sublime.

Today, our confreres PhoneArena us offer a range of tests the Super AMOLED screen of the Galaxy Note 4 . The first conclusion drawn using these tests regarding the color reproduction in “Basic” mode that is now proving surprisingly close to the standard sRGB to suggest that this panel will provide the most realistic colors possible.

If the display modes for obtaining more natural colors had never been proven before the release of Galaxy Tab S, this technology was also used to offer a made a little too “green.” A problem that appears to diminish more and more with each new release of a Samsung product.

A little sharp, the following tests indicate a color temperature of 6596 K (Kelvin), which is excellent when you consider that the reference value is 6500 K. In terms of color, it means that the balance between the blue and red primary is very well made and green pixels are not excessively present as is the case in previous generations of AMOLED.

With a Delta E of about 3.86 on the scale of grayscale and a Delta E RGB-CMY 4.86, the screen of the Galaxy Note should be able to reproduce tones and shades faithful to their source. Finally, full brightness of the Super AMOLED screen of the Galaxy Note 4 will be 500 nits. It should be excellent, including outdoors.
