Samsung Galaxy S2: slightly better versions … – LesMobiles.com

Samsung

Samsung has just offered a small technical update to its Galaxy Tab S2. The chipset and OS are replaced but the rest is unchanged. Even the names. So beware confusion.

Samsung has launched new Galaxy Tab S. almost. This is actually just improved versions of the latest models: the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and 9.7. As proof, the Korean has not even seen fit to change their names. Nor to present them in due form elsewhere. They are directly passed from the shadows to the store shelves. But then again what do they have?

New Tab Samsung Galaxy S2

Android 6.0 and Snapdragon 652 Mashmallow

the answer, you should already know if we read regularly since we have already met the new models in February. We suspected besides already then that the improvements were not numerous enough for Galaxy Tab S3. They are two in number. The first is the Snapdragon 652 that takes the place of the Exynos 5433 for a slight gain in performance with Cortex-A72 cores and Adreno 530.

The second is Android Marshmallow but this should not stay very long since a new update is normally provided for older models. As for the rest, nothing seems to have changed

screen. 4: 3, 3 GB of RAM and 8 megapixel camera

We thus find screens 8 and 9.7 inches in the same definition of 2048 x 1536 pixels, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage (expandable with microSD cards up to 128GB), the 8 and 2 cameras, 1 megapixel 4G option for those who do not have enough Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and battery of 4000 mAh and 5870 depending on the size.

the new Galaxy Tab S2 have for now been seen in Germany in the shop Cyberport but others will add to the probably eur catalog soon. And certainly not in Germany only. As for prices, the 9.7-inch model is displayed at 449 € without 4G and 549 € with. The side of the small model, only the 4G variant is referenced. Count € 479.
