Samsung Galaxy S5: SM-G900F starts receiving … – Frandroid

in October, Google started to deploy Android 6.0 officially Marshmallow, the last major release dated mobile operating system. Six months later, less than 5% of the outstanding units have been updated to this iteration of Android, but manufacturers are making efforts to carry on their various devices.

With regard Samsung, the top of the recent range of the brand have recently a firmware update and it is the turn of the older Galaxy S5 qualify. Announced earlier this year, the update to Marshmallow started in South Korea last month, then quickly in other countries such as Argentina. Today is the turn of the SM-G900F model to be updated.

Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow has indeed arrived on the Galaxy S5 Sri Lanka, the same model than is available in Europe. This does not mean that the update is available here, but it is close, and the existence of a compatible firmware for this model allows high hopes for the imminent arrival of French Marshmallow our Galaxy S5.
