Wide Samsung Galaxy: Galaxy ON7 revisited to South Korea – LesMobiles.com

Samsung announced the arrival of a new smartphone in Korea. He called Wide Galaxy but it seems to be in fact nothing less than a slightly modified Galaxy ON7.

Samsung tried to restore some order in his catalog of smartphones by adopting a clearer nomenclature: a letter for positioning, a figure for the size. There are of course some exceptions to the rule but it is generally not more complicated than that. Unfortunately, it is well known, natural and cast their spots. Samsung has unveiled a Galaxy Wide in South Korea believe in SamMobile . He has already done worse but it is certain that he moves away from his good resolutions, and for not much more.

A Galaxy ON7 with support for T-DMB and more …

Not only that Galaxy Wide nothing exceptional but it is especially very close to the existing Galaxy ON7. And we do not even talk about the 2016 version that prepares … No, this is the model 2015 referred. The model number is also included with a final S plus: SM-600S. It is even a double demotion for Samsung even if it brings still a little new to Korea.

The Galaxy Wide supports T-DMB. Understand Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, a terrestrial digital broadcasting standard used mainly for television on the domestic market from Samsung.

for the rest, everything is taken from Galaxy ON7 starting with the screen. This is also a 5.5-inch HD panel. Add to that a Snapdragon 410 coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, cameras of 13 megapixels and 5 and, finally, a battery of 3000 mAh. Really all so. Well almost. Note however that Samsung had the decency to put to Android. It is the Marshmallow version that runs natively Galaxy Wide rather than Lollipop.

No precise date has been given for the launch but it should logically occur within days or weeks to come. We have however a price: 319,000 won, or about 250 euros. The Galaxy Wide is not even a bargain …
