We were expecting a confirmation of the date, it’s done: the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will indeed be unveiled on 2 August in New York at the Samsung Unpacked conference. Reminder of the main information on PHABLET.

Dual Edge Standardisation

After a Galaxy Note Edge on the screen curved right edge, followed by Galaxy S6 Edge and S7 Edge doubly curved, the manufacturer seems to be based on its Dual Edge screen as a standard. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 as we’ve seen so far the shows a doubly curved screen with a large format expected 5.8 inches, which seems consistent with a desire to stand out the PHABLET range as offer a 5.7-inch, yet close to the Edge S7 and its 5.5-inch diagonal. The design of the PHABLET could therefore be reduced to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, larger and corners more pronounced.

A Samsung Galaxy Note 7 high-end
