Samsung Galaxy S8: A round home button like the iPhone 7? – meltyStyle

Before the Samsung Galaxy S8, the majority of home buttons of the Samsung Galaxy range was of a rectangular shape with rounded edges, including the latest Samsung Galaxy S7. It is an aesthetic difference between a Samsung smartphone and well round button on the iPhone, including iPhone 7 would be entitled to a whole new camera. But with the Samsung Galaxy S8, all this could change. According to a recently filed patent, Samsung would consider equipping its next smartphone, expected in February 2017, a home button all round, which strongly resembles that of the next iPhone 7. Always equipped with a fingerprint sensor, it is not known what prompted the Korean manufacturer to such a change, but do not forget, however, that the mark filed thousands of patents each year without any use of them.

While Apple could abandon the home button the iPhone 7 or 8 iPhone, Samsung thinks about giving new life to it with the Samsung Galaxy S8, which will unlock with his eye. According to a second patent, the brand also think to put the home button on the back of the device on the upper edge, as the illustration shows. A home button at the back of the device would not be a big first: LG has done on some of its smartphones, the number of fingerprint sensor Huawei / Honor are on the back of the device, etc. If it is unclear whether these patents will have a real commercial application, it nevertheless proves that Samsung is seriously thinking the Samsung Galaxy S8 which should thus have the right to a new design seriously.
