Samsung new generation of memory cards for may well be compatible with the new phone generation Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
When contacted by writing Droidlife, Samsung said:
” the new UFS cards are not compatible with microSD card slots .. current “
So far, nothing very gratifying the UFS cards require different characteristics of the microSD standard, hence the inconsistency between the two standards, but the Korean giant is reassuring.:
“However we have developed a port that supports both the UFS and microSD cards.”
This is why Samsung decided to create a compatible port with both types of storage. This transition strategy rather than rupture probably allow greater adoption of the UFS cards. But what is the best way to disseminate new technology? by introducing a device to the millions of insured sales. And the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is the perfect candidate when you think about it. The range is very popular and each model is sold by the millions. It features the latest technologies available from Samsung. And Note range is known for introducing the new Samsung technologies such as USB 3.0 with micro Note 3, or the curved screen with Edge Note. The Note 7 should also carry a retinal scanner.
In addition, the timing of the announcement of the new maps and the imminent announcement of the Galaxy Note 7 is perfect. The situation is very similar to the announcement of the Galaxy S6. Samsung announced mass produce storage modules UFS 2.0 on February 26, 2015.
