The Nikkei, a Japanese business newspaper very serious talk has its sources. And these are formal, in 2017, Apple will sell three iPhone. The most upscale of them will be entitled to a curved Super AMOLED display, like the Galaxy S7 edge or the Galaxy Note 7.

The Japanese newspaper also said that his source close to Apple said that he is a model with a 4.7-inch screen, another 5.5 inches and the last, also 5.5 inches but shipping the famous curved screen.

one of the three models equipped with an AMOLED screen

the news is surprising half since we now know for a few months Apple is in discussions with the department “display” (screens) Samsung to supply themselves with AMOLED screen for its upcoming smartphones. The Nikkei also stipulates that only the “high end” model will have a AMOLED screen. The other two devices are always equipped with LTPS panels “flat”.

If this information is formalized, history will remember that Apple surely, having long been copied by Samsung (remember the Galaxy S2?) Will now hesitate to go pick more ideas design in the competition. The question now is what Apple intends to do these curved screens. If they are indeed beautiful and futuristic, Samsung is struggling to find interesting uses for these curved edges. It is then hoped that Apple is on its side with interesting and innovative features that put them in value. From this perspective, one can trust the Cupertino company.

Some phones that will not be seen before the end of next year

It is however the time to come see these future phones. 7 The iPhone is indeed not out yet (it will be announced in early September) and we do not expect the iPhone in 2017 before the fall of next year. By then, the inevitable rumors and leaks about it have time to learn a bit more.
