In our first test of the Active Galaxy S7, we praised for its beautiful screen 2560 x 1440 pixels, a swift processor, the presence of a microSD card slot and an excellent 12-megapixel camera. It also has the biggest battery that Samsung has ever put in a smartphone.
Although the Active S7 does not carry the same elegant made of metal and glass design as the Galaxy S7, it offers an impact-resistant screen, physical buttons and a reinforced hull military grade. One of its most popular features was watertight. According to Samsung, the Active could be submerged in 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. But our tests have shown that this was not always true.

Two of the four models we had failed this another series of tests and we decided to lower the overall rating of the smartphone from 8.8 to 8. Although it is generally a good phone, it is difficult to recommend it confidence. However, we believe it will not be a concern in normal use (that is to say without immerse in water for 28 minutes) and it will support a fall in the toilet for 3 minutes, which is already more than most terminals can cash.
Despite this concern to the S7 level Active behavior under water, we still recommend to all those seeking a solid top range phone. This is the S7 to choose if you do not want to use a protective case while not breaking your screen. Galaxy fans who prefer the design should in turn stick to the S7 or S7 Edge.
The Galaxy S7 Active is available in the US with the operator AT & amp; T to 795 dollars. Its marketing in France is currently not planned.
