The information got away last summer, but Samsung has finally well marketed the Galaxy S5 Neo (or New) in Western Europe. Its data sheet indicates that it is a slightly constrained version of the Galaxy S5 released last year.
It was rumored at the beginning of last summer, had been seen repeatedly on online retailer sites and eventually ended up in France in August. This is the Neo Galaxy S5 (S5 or New, if one believes the site of Samsung France), a new version of the Galaxy S5 came out in early 2014.

On the form virtually nothing changes The Neo looks like two drops of water to the Galaxy S5 last year. Samsung has abandoned shell “dressing” of the former Galaxy S5 to include a new plastic a little more sober. Note also that Neo Galaxy S5 still has a waterproof IP67 since, like its predecessor, but its USB port has no door. So much the better. The technical specifications of the phone has also undergone some changes. Exit Snapdragon 801 or Exynos 5422 (present on the Galaxy S5 + 4G) and up to a 7580 Exynos whose eight Cortex-A53 cores are clocked at 1.6 GHz. Performance should logically be a little worse than those recorded on the SoC of last year. The rest hardly changes. We always find 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD slot and the same battery of 2800 mAh. Photo sensors appear to be identical with an MP sensor 16 and the rear 5 MP on the facade. The S5 Galaxy Neo Android 5.1 is installed.
This new variant of the Galaxy S5 is available from August in line with the usual shops. Its launch price seemed to be set at 399 euros (that is that we find in Materiel.net for example), but it is already possible to find less than 350 euros, on Priceminister, for example.
