The rumors are multiplying around the Samsung Galaxy S7. The last suggests that the smartphone will be equipped with a comparable technology to 3D Touch the iPhone 6S.
The screens can detect the level of finger pressure should appear on many smartphones next year. Samsung would be in line to integrate technology similar to 3D Touch in the Galaxy S7.
Apple made a splash with its integrated 3D Touch system in the iPhone 6S , but this is not the first smartphone to have benefited from such technology. This is the Huawei Mate S smartphone that led the way. The company turned to the company and its ClearForce Synaptics solution.
According to a rumor from the site Weibo, Samsung is already registered as a partner of Synaptics for using the ClearForce technology. The Galaxy S7 appears therefore the perfect candidate to host it.
The system detects different fingers ClearForce pressure levels as well as stilettos. It can manage several scrolling speeds, zoom in the images, selecting and opening preview windows, the release of a smartphone, the properties of an image, etc. This strongly resembles what can make the 3D Touch on iPhone 6S.
We must now hope that Samsung integrates this technology in depth and develops sufficiently related functions sensing the pressure level on the screen so that it is not a simple gadget.
You can see a demo of the solution ClearForce in the video below.
