Samsung just announced the release of a new smartphone called Galaxy A9 6 inches. This is the largest model currently marketed by the Korean manufacturer.
With its 6-inch screen Super AMOLED (displaying Full HD), the Galaxy A9 stands midway between the Galaxy and S6 the Note 5, as the size of the slab that the design chosen by Samsung.
This is however not the largest smartphone produced by the brand, since the Galaxy Mega 6.3, in its time , was even more impressive.
The data sheet of this new midrange PHABLET consists of a Snapdragon processor 652 (the rebadge S620), the Adreno 510 for 3D, 3 GB of RAM and up to 32GB of storage, which can fortunately be extended via microSD card.
4G compatibility, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11n Wi-Fi and NFC are also present, as a fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM slot and a battery to the generous capacity mAh 4000, which does not deprive a certain thin (7.4 mm thick). The picture part is summarized in turn to a 13-megapixel sensor for the camera, and a second 8 megapixels for the camera.
Comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (and therefore not in the last version of the Google OS, Marshmallow), this smartphone will be marketed as early as next January, but only in China currently. The availability for the rest of the world could be announced at CES, which opened on January 6.
Available in three colors (white, gold, and pink gold), its price remains for the unknown time . Remember, the Galaxy A3 (4.5 inches), A5 (5 inches) and A7 (5.5 inches) are available and priced between 259-399 euros.
