Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge: first visual and characteristics – 01net

Samsung’s next high-end smartphone to says. Visual and technical characteristics were first published, confirming the expected two versions: a Galaxy S7 and Edge Version with curved side edges.

According to Android Authority information, the first model would incorporate the dimensions of the S6 or 143 x 70.5 millimeters. It is equipped with a 5.2-inch AMOLED screen and Quad HD, an Exynos 8890 processor (for Europe and Asia) or a Snapdragon 820 (for the US and China), supported by 4GB of RAM and a memory 32 or 64 GB depending on the version.

No microSD for Edge Version

It would also see the return of the microSD port, missing on the Galaxy S6. The photo sensor is a 20 megapixel model produced by Sony. Finally, network side, the Galaxy would be compatible LTE S7 category 12.

The Galaxy S7 Edge meanwhile incorporate a curved AMOLED 5.5 inch AMOLED also Quad HD. If we find the same processor, RAM and storage, it will however no microSD port. Photo sensors and network capabilities remain the same. No trace either for now, despite the persistent rumors of an equivalent system in 3D for Apple Touch the screen to be pressure sensitive.

The two models could be unveiled next February 20 ahead of Mobile World Congress. Reuters stated this week that Samsung had planned to produce 5 million copies of these models to be ready in a market which could come as early as March
