The update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow seems imminent for the latest flagships from Samsung, and should make various improvements. Galaxy edge S6 and S6 + edge should be particularly spoiled in this update, with the addition of new features for the side screen.
Samsung is currently testing the beta Marshmallow some users of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. For those who do not participate in this experience, however, it is possible to preview new products through information provided by testers, whether textual, as pictures or even videos.
On YouTube, some Raheel Ahmad shared on Christmas Day, a video of his Galaxy S6 edge Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The subject of the video focuses primarily on gestural interactions, now number six (against 4 at present), but also and especially on the side screen, much better exploited in this firmware version.

In addition to the signs “favorite contacts” and “Favorite applications” today, this video shows several other screens such as’ My Places “which displays a list of applications based on the geographical location of the phone, quick tools (compass, flashlight …), a quick overview of the calendar, the weather, the the activity of social networks (including Twitter here), and others. Moreover, it is of course possible to buy more still on the shop dedicated Samsung Galaxy Apps.
This is, however, still only a beta version of firmware, which can further evolve by its final release. The official update has also not been dated precisely at the moment, but should arrive early in 2016
