It’s been a while since we had not had to test a tablet from Samsung, today we caught up with our late discovery of the tablet Samsung S2 Galaxy Tab 9.7 inch format . A tablet that replaces the previous version, the Samsung Galaxy S and provides technical specifications very enticing. It is available in two versions, the first 9.7-inch format that we’ll test and a second model with a diagonal of 8 inches. The Samsung Galaxy S2 is somewhat upscale Samsung tablet incorporating design inherited the Samsung Galaxy Tab A Output ago shortly in Europe. Little surprise, Samsung offers a screen in 4: 3 , which is not displeasing to us. In short are starting this test of the Samsung Galaxy S2 at size 9.7 inches!

This is fairly standard from Samsung, no big surprise except for the presence of a small peak to the microSD card out of the slot. Furthermore you can insist that you have a tip to take out the MicroSD card slot is not at all practice on that Samsung made a backward although we appreciate the presence of the microSD slot.

As I said we note the presence of a high quality processor with 8 cores clocked 1.9 Ghz . Another nice surprise, 3 GB Ram that run the machine, the speed of execution of certain tasks is felt! No more lags nuisance, lengths before running an application, not really there strictly is nothing wrong with this Samsung Galaxy S2 Another nice aspect, the design of this tablet. It is a pretty incredible finesse with only 5.6 millimeters! From tablet tester memory I believe never have seen such a thin tablet. The tablet’s grip is very comfortable, especially for playing video games, high speaker were cleverly placed on the bottom of the tablet which avoids hide by hand. The connection is fairly standard but still offers microSD slot up to 128 GB and that’s really a good thing to free up space on 32 GB of internal storage (although I regret the necessity of having to open the microSD slot with a peak!). Finally autonomy and relatively good, count between 10-12 hours of use when viewing a video (we performed the test with a film lasting 1:30 Full HD format). It’s very satisfying.

The video portion starts at 0.42 minutes : An almost faultless, opening with the reader proposed by Samsung to open virtually any file type, only flat incompatible to open AC3 and DTS , but everything else going on. Part PDF / TouchWizz interface starts at 3.06 minutes. Samsung has done things and the presence of a powerful processor combined with 3GB of Ram are felt. PDF files open easily with a dedicated application . The Galaxy Tab S2 also provides the interface TouchWizz , a kind of overlay software applied to Android. For Samsung product users you will not be confused, over this interface improves and is always intuitive. We appreciate in particular the consequences of pre-installed software (MS Office and Google Android applications).

A page dedicated to content from the web is displayed, it allows you to create a set info alerts. It’s well done and perfectly integrated into the navigation of this Android tablet

surfing the web part starts at 5 minutes. We used the Google Chrome browser to do our test, coupled with 4G + connection. Obviously it’s very fast (4G + connection) and the pages are displayed quickly and correctly. Once again the speed of the processor and 3GB of Ram installed make the difference.

In summary multimedia section is a great success. The applications offered by Samsung are very good quality, the TouchWizz interface is nice, and the audio and video quality provides a near perfect experience.

Our opinion on the Samsung S2 Galaxy Tab tablet – 9.7 “

This tablet Samsung S2 Galaxy Tab 9.7 inch format is a great success . It offers numerous advantages and offers a very nice user experience for Android tablet. In addition to its high performance with the CPU 8 cores and 3 GB Ram , the Galaxy Tab S2 display a new design for Samsung, thin 5.6 mm, elegant with good grip and especially low weight of 392 grams.

Samsung offers ample connectivity including the slot microSD up to 128 GB and micro USB socket to charge the tablet, it’s not like some owner (is not it Apple?).

Conclusion apart from its high price (currently about 440 Euros) this tablet is most certainly one of the best running Android 5.0. If you have the budget go for it!
