The version of the Galaxy S7 with Snapdragon 820 has appeared on GeekBench.
Normally, the Galaxy S7 will be equipped with the SoC house of Samsung, the Exynos 8890, except for the United States and China, where it will be sold with a 820 Snapdragon clocked slightly higher than the version of origin.
That should have been the case with the Galaxy S6 and Snapdragon 810, but at the sight of this SoC heating problems all Galaxy S6 were sold with the Exynos 7420.
This special version of the Galaxy S7 has been seen on GeekBench by a tester who released a message on Weibo. In this message he gives the score of the 5423 Galaxy S7 multi-core and single-core in 2456. For comparison, the Galaxy S6 shows 4493 scores in multi-core and Galaxy S6 Edge the 1343 score.
So if these results are confirmed, with a Snapdragon 820 modified or 8890 Exynos, Galaxy S7 would have under the hood.
