Despite the success of Galaxy S6, many smartphone owners are struggling to optimize their use of the battery. Here are five tips to help you improve the autonomy of the Galaxy S6 and Edge without impacting their performance.

The Galaxy S6 does not have a very competitive autonomy from the rest of smartphone market, especially as many of its features are based on constant use of the battery. For holders of the smartphone that use intensely this problem further. Here are five tips to remedy without impacting performance of the phone.

1) The brightness of the screen

To disable it, you must go to the Wi-Fi Networks screen and deselect in the advanced options. Disabling can save 15 to 20% of the life of the battery.

3) The location

If you’re someone which uses many applications and widgets based on location, you will often notice that the Google Play services are listed as the largest consumers of energy battery. To disable location through mobile or WiFi networks, go in the Location settings and choose the method “GPS only.”

4) User Account Management

If you use multiple Google accounts on the same phone, make sure to set the timing of accounts do not need it. To do so, go into the settings “Accounts”, choose your Google account and review the associated applications. Touch them for disable. Remember to only sync your main account if you use the other only for e-mail.

5) Disabling pre-installed applications

Some applications pre-installed on the Galaxy S6 may not serve you forever. So please disable it if you do not use them. This will no longer be any unnecessary background processes that use the energy of your battery. This is for example the case of S Voice which deactivation should stabilize the life of your battery.
