Galaxy S6 Edge: Samsung copy Apple a pub imitating Jony Ive! – Phonandroid

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is available for almost a month. Samsung’s advertising campaign has already started and Korean, as usual, wants aggressive.

In its latest spot, the manufacturer uses the Apple of advertising codes Watch for his Apple Gold and mimics particular emphasis to Jony Ive, the famous designer of the Cupertino company.

Before we talk about the approximate imitation of Jony Ive , first talk about the similarities in the structure of this ad Samsung. It is first in the images we can see that Samsung has just copied Apple’s advertising for its Apple Watch Edition.

One of them is particularly gross: Korean uses exactly the same image Apple regarding the “golden corridor” in the product mold. Just seen the two ads, the same plane of a container by pouring gold into the mold Product (Apple Watch for the first, the Edge S6 for the second).

But what is most disturbing is the voiceover. Advertising is English and non-English speakers, copying is not obvious. Whatever. While advertising Samsung, which talks about the design of the Galaxy S6 Edge, is intended for an American audience, the voice resumes English accent (rather missed, it must be admitted) to speak of the watch design.

This is obviously an imitation of the famous Jony Ive , the designer of Apple products, of British origin. The right arm of Tim Cook was often mocked for his speeches filled with “amazing” and “beautiful”. But obviously it works, since Samsung has altogether imitated.

Apple is certainly recognized for its marketing power, but this time, Samsung was not necessarily well advised to take these codes. For an Apple product, it makes sense, but for Samsung, one seeks the identity of the brand in this spot. See for yourself, the video
